BTTiming App — Privacy Policy

What the app does

BTTiming shows live and past results of sports events timed by Boss Timing Thailand, lets you follow participants by bib number, and can send push notifications when a participant you follow passes a checkpoint or finishes. The app is free and does not require an account.

Data we collect

• Push notification token — an identifier issued by Apple or Google for your device, stored only if you turn notifications on. It cannot identify you personally.
• Your follow list — the event IDs and bib numbers you choose to follow, plus your notification preferences and app language. Stored on your device and, when notifications are on, on our server so alerts can be targeted.

We do not collect your name, e-mail, phone number, location, contacts, photos or any advertising identifier. We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs.

How it is used

Solely to deliver the notifications you asked for. Data is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising or profiling.

Where it is stored

On Cloudflare Workers KV. Notifications are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) and Apple Push Notification service, which receive only the device token and the notification text.

Retention and deletion

Turning notifications off in Settings deletes your device record from our server immediately. Records whose token is no longer valid are removed automatically. You can also delete everything by uninstalling the app.

Results data

Participant names, bib numbers and timing results shown in the app are the official results published by the event organiser on the event website; the app displays the same public data. Participants who wish to have their name withheld should contact the event organiser.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
